You can hear the double-takes from here. The Saints took Seth McGowan at pick 40, roughly 371 spots before his name belonged. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D+ is the result.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Dart. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
