Thirty-one other rooms let Lathan Ransom slide, and the Cowboys were the ones holding the card at the 249th overall pick. Highway robbery. Hard to defend, and the D+ reflects that.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. McLaughlin has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
