You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Cowboys did exactly that with Lander Barton in the Round 4 slot. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

The Green value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through offensive lineman. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

Adding O'Cyrus Torrence by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the offensive lineman spot they never got to.
