Nobody had Drake Nugent this high, and it is not close. The Bears reached 57 spots to get him at the 146th pick. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A- to show for it.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own. Paul at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Bottom line, with Chop Robinson leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
