Draft Grade — Bills

FutureD
The Bills robbed the room for Bryant. Final grade: B. The trade table was a mismatch, and the Bills were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value.
Landing Bryant that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain. Reaching for Lambert-Smith left real value on the table behind him.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
Pick Analysis
Pick18
Rnd1
Kenneth Grant
In pick 18 they get a load in the middle at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick30
Rnd1
Nick Emmanwori
In the Round 1 slot they get a two-high chess piece at a price that makes it sweeter. A real need, handled.
Pick48
Rnd2
Matthew Golden
Good price on Matthew Golden in the 48th overall pick, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick86
Rnd3
Quinshon Judkins
The board had Quinshon Judkins higher than No. 86, and the running back fell to them anyway. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick124
Rnd4
Jordan Phillips
Jordan Phillips at Round 4, Pick 23 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick171
Rnd5
Jackson Slater
Jackson Slater in the 171st pick is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick175
Rnd5
KeAndre Lambert-Smith
KeAndre Lambert-Smith in the 175th overall pick is a bet on their own eyes over everyone else's grade. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick179
Rnd6
Dorian Strong
Dorian Strong at Round 6, Pick 1 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick208
Rnd6
Cobee Bryant
Cobee Bryant in pick 208 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. They added to a strength when a need was still open elsewhere.
