The phones sank the Titans this weekend: C.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Titans did exactly that with Will Howard in pick 107.

Landing Majors that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

It grades out a shrug today, with plenty of room to move either way.

Pick Analysis
Pick4 Rnd1 Tetairoa McMillan
Tetairoa McMillan in pick No. 4 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick35 Rnd2 Charles Grant
Charles Grant at the 35th pick is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick89 Rnd3 Maxwell Hairston
They liked Maxwell Hairston enough to skip the value, taking him in the 89th overall pick. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick107 Rnd4 Will Howard
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Will Howard. The roster fit checks out.
Pick119 Rnd4 Jaeden Roberts
Jaeden Roberts at Round 4, Pick 18 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick142 Rnd5 Quinshon Judkins
They will replay Quinshon Judkins at the Round 5 slot for years; that is how good the value is. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick167 Rnd5 Jake Majors
Jake Majors in the 167th pick is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick179 Rnd6 Collin Oliver
Collin Oliver in the Round 6 slot is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
