More right than wrong for the 49ers, and a B- to prove it.

Nobody had Ahmed Hassanein this high, and it is not close. The 49ers reached 84 spots to get him at pick 138. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
