A solid, sensible weekend for the Chargers: B-.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Chargers took Ben Yurosek a full 74 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend.

They banked enough surplus on Golden to cover a lot of smaller sins. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
