The Seahawks went off the board in a big way for Jackson Hawes, 48 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

Alexander at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They will answer for taking cornerback early while linebacker went begging.

Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
