The Saints bled value on every deal, hence the D-.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Saints shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. Too much went sideways, and the D- is the honest tally.

They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Every board in the league had Ford lower, and that gap is the story. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Legette.

In short, the board sent warnings, and they will be hoping it was wrong.

Calen Bullock at the 44th pick is right where the board had him, plain and simple. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.

Xavier Legette slid further than he should have, and pick 45 is lovely value for the wide receiver. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
