The Braden Fiske selection is the head-turner. The Saints reached 36 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. The whole projection now runs through Jayden Daniels; hit there and everything else looks smarter. The running back hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and running back is still a hole.
