The Saints got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D.

The Saints clearly saw something nobody else did in Kenny Logan Jr., taking him 33 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. Hard to defend, and the D reflects that.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. Suamataia falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
