The Saints worked the phones like thieves and earned a B.

Whoever sat across the table from the Saints should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

They will need Ratledge to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They banked enough surplus on Pegues to cover a lot of smaller sins.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
