The Saints lost the trade table, and the D- tells the story.

The tape said wait; the Saints did not. Dominic Zvada went at pick 183, a good 47 picks before the board was ready. Too much went sideways, and the D- is the honest tally.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it. They banked enough surplus on Leavitt to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and tight end is still a hole.
