This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Charles Grant, the No. 91 name on the board, stolen at the 131st pick. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

Carroll has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
