The one they had to fix is still broken. The Saints left edge rusher untouched, and that omission hangs over an otherwise reasonable haul.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Kilgore. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
