The real work happened on the phones. The Saints fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with.

They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The veteran additions, Justin Jefferson chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not. They banked enough surplus on Orange to cover a lot of smaller sins.

If Roberts pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.
