You could see the war room lean forward. Jayden Higgins at pick 112 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

The cost of the Gray reach is exactly the players who went right after him. That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
