The Saints won the night they stopped Hampton from sliding. Grade: B-.

Somebody in No. 111 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Saints sat still while Omarion Hampton, the No. 15 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

The cost of the Daniels reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close.

The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
