The rest of the league had time to spare on CJ West; the Saints did not wait, grabbing him 56 spots ahead at the 131st pick.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

It is not that Mondon Jr. is a bad player; it is that the Saints had louder needs to answer first. On value alone, Walker makes the weekend a net positive.
