The Saints kept it disciplined and banked a B-.

For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Saints walked out of the weekend still thin at edge rusher, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

The cost of the Claiborne reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The Coleman Jr. pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

The back end got a real overhaul.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
