The real work happened on the phones. The Saints fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with.

Moore at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The Saints indulged a want in Eichenberg while a need in tight end stayed open. They are betting Tagovailoa proves the room right and everyone else wrong.
