The Saints drew a line under the quarterback search with Sanders: D.

The phones were a trap the Saints kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. The process wobbled, and the D is where it lands.

Whatever Shedeur Sanders becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. The Saints indulged a want in Oliver while a need in interior defensive lineman stayed open.

Reaching for Webb left real value on the table behind him. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

On value alone, Allar makes the weekend a net positive.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and interior defensive lineman is still a hole.
