The Giants looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Que Robinson at Round 5, Pick 13 regardless, 34 picks early. Put together, it is a D.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. Landing Rourke that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain.

It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and running back is still a hole.
