The Raiders found their guy under center in Moore: F. You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Raiders did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. A F, plain and simple.
Dante Moore gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.
The cost of the Stewart reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The Raiders indulged a want in Sabb while a need in edge rusher stayed open.
Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Harris. It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake.
Bottom line, it will take a lot of luck to make this look better later.
