The Patriots got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D.

There is reaching, and then there is Noah Daniels at pick 242. The Patriots jumped the board by 145 and dared it to prove them wrong. It grades a D, and the process earned it.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They banked enough surplus on Sanker to cover a lot of smaller sins. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

The Brandon Powell deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
