The Patriots turned the phones into found money: B+. The Xzavier Henderson selection is the head-turner. The Patriots reached 43 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.
Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The safety spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
If one pick saves this weekend, it is Brooks. With safety, quarterback and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on linebacker is the choice that costs them.
