Cam Ward gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. If Griffith pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Spending an early pick on linebacker with safety, edge rusher and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

For all the activity, safety went untouched, which is hard to explain.
