The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Vikings reached some 52 spots for Da'Shawn Womack, and value like that does not grow back. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Downs. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

The back end got a real overhaul.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
