Nobody had Riley Nowakowski this high, and it is not close. The Raiders reached 65 spots to get him at Round 6, Pick 27.

Fernando Mendoza is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. With edge rusher and wide receiver unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.
