You build a draft on nights like this. Junior Colson had no business being available in No. 115, and the Bengals did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
