The war room fell hard for Jordan Strachan, and it showed at pick 242: 103 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. The math is unkind, and the D follows.

The Hadden pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They have staked the next five years on Jayden Daniels, which is the only story that really matters here.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. The Solomon pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with linebacker still on the board.

They punted on linebacker, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
