The Jets treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending pick No. 50 on Quinn Ewers a full 38 spots early. A D that will need time and luck to look better.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
