The steal of the weekend belongs to the Bears and Winston Jr.: B.

When a board-topper like Kevin Winston Jr. slides to the Round 5 slot, you do not overthink it, and the Bears did not. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

Carroll has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They punted on cornerback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.
