You could see the war room lean forward. Pat Bryant at the Round 7 slot is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. No fireworks, but a solid B.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
