You can hear the double-takes from here. The Patriots took Chris Tyree at pick 195, roughly 60 spots before his name belonged.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

They banked enough surplus on Nwankpa to cover a lot of smaller sins. The Jakobi Meyers deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
