Best value of the weekend goes to the Patriots for Dart: C. The Patriots did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Jaxson Dart fell into slot 210.
The Thomas reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere.
The Patriots paired the rookies with proven help, Kolton Miller leading the way.
