When a board-topper like Adisa Isaac slides to the Round 5 slot, you do not overthink it, and the Patriots did not.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. Every board in the league had Mahogany lower, and that gap is the story.

The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. The veteran additions, Dexter Lawrence chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
