The Texans spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Sheridan Jones, the No. 219 name on the board, in No. 247. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up. The Ford pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. They went 3 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
