If confidence were a draft strategy, the Bengals would have aced it. Trey Zuhn III at slot 204 is 27 spots clear of where he belonged. For now it grades a C+, with the swing picks left to settle the rest.

Spending an early pick on edge rusher with tight end, interior defensive lineman and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want.

Job largely done: cornerback settled and 2 of 8 of the wish list covered. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

So much rides on LT Overton that the real verdict is a season or two away.
