Nobody else had Taulia Tagovailoa anywhere near the Round 7 slot. The Jets did, by 129 spots, and that gap is the whole story. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

A whole weekend of picks and cornerback is somehow still a want. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.

A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
