The Bears found their guy under center in Williams: B. They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Caleb Williams is the Bears' quarterback, full stop. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
The phones were where this weekend was really won. Landing Rice that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.
Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
