Draft Grade — Bears
Overall A-
ValueA NeedB+ TradesA+ FutureB-
The Bears won the night they stopped Milum from sliding. Grade: A-.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Wyatt Milum tumbling to the Bears in No. 233 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A- to show for it.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Liam Eichenberg deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

The kind of weekend a front office frames and hangs on the wall.

Pick Analysis
Pick10 Rnd1 Abdul Carter
In pick 10 they get a quarterback's worst nightmare at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick39 Rnd2 Ashton Jeanty
Ashton Jeanty at No. 39 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick48 Rnd2 Tyler Warren
A tight end of that caliber at the 48th overall pick is the definition of value, full stop. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick57 Rnd2 Armand Membou
They took Armand Membou at par in the Round 2 slot, which is nothing to complain about. The roster fit checks out.
Pick98 Rnd3 Malaki Starks
Steal is underselling it; Malaki Starks at Round 3, Pick 34 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick147 Rnd5 Walter Nolen
Walter Nolen in pick No. 147 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick193 Rnd6 Tre Harris
Tre Harris at the 193rd pick is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick233 Rnd7 Wyatt Milum
Somehow Wyatt Milum was still sitting there in slot 233, and they pounced on premier offensive lineman value. It fills a real need, too.
Pick240 Rnd7 T.J. Sanders
They barely believed it either: T.J. Sanders still on the board at the 240th pick. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
