A costly weekend of dealing drags the Raiders to a D.

The rest of the league had time to spare on J.C. Davis; the Raiders did not wait, grabbing him 33 spots ahead at the 111th overall pick. It grades a D, and the process earned it.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. However the rest shakes out, Green at that price is a win they earned.

The veteran additions, Baker Mayfield chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
