Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Bears spent the Round 3 slot on Walter Rouse, a name the board had a full 75 spots lower. They moved the roster forward and banked a B+ for it.

They have staked the next five years on Jayden Daniels, which is the only story that really matters here. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
