A respectable, level-headed haul for the 49ers: B+.

Nobody had Kevin Jennings this high, and it is not close. The 49ers reached 78 spots to get him at Round 6, Pick 11. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

They banked enough surplus on Noel to cover a lot of smaller sins. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The 49ers paired the rookies with proven help, Jeff Okudah leading the way.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
