The 49ers got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D-.

The 49ers clearly saw something nobody else did in JJ Pegues, taking him 49 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Woodson.

Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 8 of 8 of the wish list covered.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
