The Rams spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Roger Rosengarten, the No. 201 name on the board, in the 221st overall pick. The bottom line is a respectable B.

Every board in the league had Smith lower, and that gap is the story. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

Quantity was the play, for better or worse.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
