The tape said wait; the Commanders did not. Ben Sinnott went at the 102nd overall pick, a good 41 picks before the board was ready. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. The Newton pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
