The Chargers lost the trade table, and the D tells the story.

It is the swing that defines the weekend: De'Zhaun Stribling in No. 161, a good 61 spots before the room expected him. It grades a D, and the process earned it.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Spending an early pick on safety with cornerback, quarterback and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

Getting Ramsey where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, cornerback very much included.
